Privacy Policy

A quick word before we begin

Your time and your privacy both matter. We run a small tech site and we only collect what is needed to keep Gozomosi running, to fix problems, and to reply when you write to us. This page explains that in plain language.

Who we are and how to reach us

Publisher: Gozomosi
Postal address: Model Mill Compound, Anandam World City, Ganeshpeth Colony, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440018, India
Email: support@gozomosi.com

What you choose to share with us

You may send us information when you contact us or leave a comment. That usually includes your name, your email address, and the message you write. If you attach screenshots or files, those files might contain extra details inside the metadata. Remove anything sensitive before you send it.

If you speak to us about sponsorships or partnerships, we keep your name, role, company, and the conversation so that we can follow up and keep proper records.

What gets collected automatically

Our servers make simple logs so the site stays reliable. These logs can include your IP address, the type of device and browser you use, the time of your visit, and basic error reports. We also look at high level usage: which pages people read, how long they stay, the approximate city or country, and where a visit came from. This helps us plan stories and improve how the site loads.

Cookies and your consent

Readers in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland see a consent banner on the first visit. You choose which categories you allow. Your choice stays in place until the law says we must ask again or until you clear cookies.

We use four broad categories:

  1. Necessary: keep core features working, such as security and comment submission.
  2. Preferences: remember settings like your consent choice.
  3. Statistics: help us understand which pages are useful.
  4. Marketing: support advertising and performance measurement where permitted.

You can open the banner again at any time using the Manage Consent link in our footer.

Advertising and measurement in simple terms

Ads help pay for our work. If you allow statistics or marketing in the banner, our partners may set or read cookies to measure visits and, where allowed, personalize ads. We use a Google certified consent tool that speaks the TCF standard and Consent Mode v2. It passes along your choice so partners adjust what they do. If you decline those categories, we limit partners to basic delivery where that is possible.

We do not sell personal data. We do not allow sensitive interest categories.

Why we use information

We use information for clear and limited reasons:

  1. Run the site and keep it secure.
  2. Reply to your messages and moderate comments.
  3. Learn what helps readers and improve speed, layout, and navigation.
  4. Show ads and measure reach so the site can stay free to read.
  5. Meet legal duties and handle disputes when they arise.

Our legal bases

Different actions rest on different legal bases:

  1. Consent: non essential cookies, advanced analytics, and personalized ads where the law requires consent.
  2. Contract: replying when you ask a question and delivering content you request.
  3. Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, and basic audience measurement in a privacy minded way.
  4. Legal obligation: record keeping and lawful requests from authorities.

You can withdraw consent at any time through the Manage Consent link.

Who helps us operate the site

We work with trusted service providers for hosting, security, analytics, consent management, anti spam, email delivery, and ad serving. They act on our instructions and must protect your data. We may share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

How long we keep information

  1. Contact messages: up to eighteen months for context and follow up.
  2. Comment records: for the life of the article unless you ask us to remove them.
  3. Consent records: as long as needed to show compliance.
  4. Analytics: mostly in aggregate. When raw data exists, no longer than fourteen months unless needed for security or debugging.
  5. Business records for partners and advertisers: as required by tax and accounting rules.

International transfers

We operate from India and some providers process data in other countries. When data moves across borders, we use safeguards that are recognized by law and we choose providers with strong security practices.

Your choices and your rights

You control many things and we will help you exercise your rights.

  1. Cookies: use Manage Consent in the footer to review or change settings.
  2. Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  3. Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
  4. Deletion: ask us to delete your data when the law allows.
  5. Restriction: ask us to limit use in specific cases.
  6. Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.
  7. Portability: get a copy of data you provided in a common format.
  8. Withdraw consent: change your cookie choices at any time.

To make a request, email support@gozomosi.com with the subject line: Privacy request and the right you want to use. We may ask you for information to confirm your identity.

Regional notes

If you live in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We welcome the chance to fix issues directly and respond within a reasonable time.

If you live in India, you can ask to access or correct your personal data and raise a grievance if you have concerns. Write to the address on this page and we will reply.

Children

Our site is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age that requires parental consent in their country. If you believe a child has shared data, tell us and we will remove it.

Security

We protect data in transit, keep software up to date, and limit who has access. We review access on a schedule and keep change logs. No system is perfectly secure. If we find a risk to your data, we act quickly and follow the law on notifications where required.

Third party content

Some pages reference or embed services we do not control. Their content and policies can change without notice. Read their privacy practices before using them.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change or when the law changes. Significant updates will be shown by the date at the top. If a change affects how we handle your data, we will explain it in clear language.
